Magic was my first Belgian—of any variety—and I am very thankful to Terry Adams, Gloria Adams, and Russ Beach for taking the time to answer all my questions about Belgians and for helping me find my special girl!

I am also very grateful to Nancy Vida, who was willing to take a chance on a first-time Belgian owner!!  

Magic—unbelievable to me that she is 11 years old now—was my main “demo” dog for my obedience classes.  We competed in obedience a few times, and Magic did very well on everything except her long sits and downs.  She just couldn’t bear to be away from mom that long. ;-)  

Due to a back injury a week before her 10th birthday, Magic is now retired from obedience.  It will feel strange to teach another dog all the things that Magic knew as my demo dog. L  However, I am sooooooo glad to have her back from the vet clinic and on the mend from her injury—she actually came home on her 10th birthday, and it was a great birthday present for both of us!

July 15, 2008  - The one that started it all is gone...along with part of my heart.
